Standing Behind Firefighters Who Serve the Los Angeles County Fire Department
When our firefighters are facing some of the most difficult moments of their lives, the Los Angeles County Firefighters Welfare Fund is there to stand with them and their families.

Stewardship, Service, Support
The Mission
The mission of the Los Angeles County Firefighters Welfare Fund is to provide direct financial support and essential assistance to firefighters and their families during times of illness, injury, loss, or unexpected hardship. We also support the overall wellness of our firefighter community through mental health referrals, medical equipment assistance, and social and recreational activities that keep our members connected.

Serving over 5,000 active and retired firefighters
Our Purpose
The Impact We Have on Our Firefighters
Supporting our firefighters when they need it most
When support is available during times of hardship, firefighters are able to focus on their health, their families, and recovery rather than financial stress or uncertainty. The Welfare Fund helps ease the pressure on families, provide peace of mind, and remove one more burden during already difficult moments.

A Legacy Of Support
More Than 75 Years Of Service
For generations, members of the community have looked for a trusted and meaningful way to give back to firefighters and their families.
For more than 75 years, the Los Angeles CountyFirefighters Welfare Fund has served as a reliable, responsible steward of that support.
Donor contributions allow the Welfare Fund to respond with care, discretion, and respect when firefighters and their families face unexpected hardship. Every donation helps ensure assistance is delivered thoughtfully and with dignity during life’s most difficult moments.
